Position Description
Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Non CDL Truck Driver and want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $925 or more per week
Driver positions pay weekly
Hours per week: 40 + additional hours
Solo miles pay: $0.39 per mile with 901 miles per week
Solo stops pay: $12.00 per stop with 48 stops per week
Paid training
Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends
Start time: early AM
Route and Equipment
Solo to 80 mile radius of Indianapolis, IN
Route: local home daily
Truck type: Box truck – 16', 22', and 26'
Equipment: pallet jack, lift gate, and hand truck
Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
Freight: touch auto parts

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
Pass a Ryder drug test
Must have verifiable driving experience in a straight truck or box truck:
6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
Safely drive a vehicle within and require compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
Maintaining accurate records loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
Other tasks as assigned.
