River Ridge Living and Rehab is a trusted 120-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing outstanding care and a stimulating environment for our residents. We believe that meaningful activities play a crucial role in improving overall well-being, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Activities Aide to join our Recreation Department.
Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Position Summary The Activities Aide assists the Activities Director in planning and implementing engaging programs that promote residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellness. This position plays a key role in helping residents live life to the fullest every day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and delivering daily recreational activities that enhance resident engagement.
Lead group and individual activities, ensuring participation and enjoyment for all residents.
Provide one-on-one visits to residents who may need personalized attention.
Transport residents safely to and from activities and events.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in all activity areas.
Collaborate effectively with staff across departments to ensure quality resident experience.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Recreation.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
required.
Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn —
