Position Description

Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $27.00 per Hour
Weekly Pay: $1,600+ per week
Hours per Week: 50+ hours
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Dispatch: Varies
Route & Equipment
Solo To: Yard Jockey and Offsite Fueling
Route: Local Home Daily
Tractor Type: Yard Tractor
Trailer Type: Dry Van 48', 53'
Yard Experience: Must have
Truck Age: 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fuel at 800+ locations

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder drug test
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within last 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard and within an area on public roads
Compliance with safety & DOT regulations, continuous training, and customer service
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
Maintain accurate records and logs, including move and yard inventory
