Job Summary
The Body Shop Helper/Apprentice at Baker Collision (Coopersville) will assist the collision team in completing various tasks related to repairing damaged vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the industry. As a part of Baker Collision you will play an important role in supporting the team to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards. Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time hourly position paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for automotive training and education. Responsibilities
Pre and post repair clean up/detailing of customer vehicles Prepare vehicles for refinishing by sanding, masking, and priming Remove damaged parts and tear down for repair planning Clean and maintain work area and tools Perform pre and post repair scans when necessary Remove trash recycling materials from shop daily Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair setting is preferred Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record EEOC Statement
