Job Summary Worland Health and Rehabilitation
is currently seeking a
Laundry Aide
that is responsible for the daily preparation and quality control of linen distributed.
Essential Functions
Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
Linen sorting, washing, folding
Observes infection control standards in the handling of linens and clothing.
Sorts and washes soiled linens.
Hangs or lays out garments
Folds, counts, and stacks linen
Presses or hand irons articles as required.
Inspects linen for wear and tear.
Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area.
Operates washers and dryers
Cleans dryer lint traps.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to take initiative and show good judgment.
Ability to become familiar with the physical arrangement of the Center.
Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team.
Requirements
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
Customer-oriented
Time management skills
Working quickly without compromising quality
