Job Summary and Qualifications The Prep Cook under the direction of the FANS Management team performs routine daily tasks related to food preparation needs of the Nutritional Service Department, ensuring a clean and sanitized work area. Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or its equivalent.

One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred.

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380‑bed acute‑care hospital offering a full range of services, including the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast, interventional and therapeutic care, open‑heart surgery, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center, the Physical Rehabilitation Center is CARF accredited, and it is a Level II Trauma Center. It provides a freestanding ER in Vero Beach and the area’s only Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
