Utility Locator

Compensation:
$23.00 per hour (entry‑level) to $29.00 per hour (experienced).

Your Responsibilities as a Locator:
Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking, documenting, and photographing each locate.
Work full‑time during daytime hours; availability for overtime, weekend shifts, and on‑call (including nights and weekends) is required.
Required Qualifications:
Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions; previous outdoor experience is a plus.
Computer proficiency.
Available to work overtime, weekends, and on‑call shifts as needed.
Must pass a drug screen (safety‑sensitive position).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Able to work in confined spaces, walk, bend, lift up to 75 lbs.
Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps, and prints.
Strong communication skills with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
