Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting pay will be $15.05 to $17.05 depending on your skills and experience.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours for this position are between 4‑8 hours per week.

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, track time, provide feedback, and answer surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.

Holiday support: During peak seasonal demand (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) additional days and extended hours may be required, including possibly working on the actual holiday itself.

Department resets: When part of a team responsible for installations and remodeling tasks—such as building fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting sections—notify two weeks in advance. These assignments can include evenings or weekends.

Team support: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you may support other merchandisers in your territory when needed.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You may need to kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write and understand English.

Capability to grasp, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.

Access to Wi-Fi network and the internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
