Job Summary Burkhart Plumbing is seeking Apprentice Plumbers to join our full-service team in North Idaho. You’ll work on residential and commercial projects—handling repairs, remodels, preventative maintenance, new construction, radiant heating, and snow-melt systems across Kootenai and Bonner counties. Responsibilities And Duties
Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, and hydronic heating systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using industry-standard methods and tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and local building codes.
Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure long-term reliability.
Maintain accurate work records—time, materials used, and job notes—as per company standards.
Qualifications And Skills
Valid Apprentice Plumber license (Idaho)
2 years of plumbing experience.
Solid mathematical and problem-solving skills; ability to accurately measure, calculate, and plan.
Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, working in confined spaces, on ladders.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
