Job Details Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8.0 hrs/day, specific hours to be determined; 200‑day clerical work schedule. Reports to: Building Principals. Supervision: None.

Position Summary This is the first level in the four‑level clerical group and is responsible for routine administrative support duties such as filing, copying, data entry and reconciliation, typing, answering telephones, cashiering, customer service, and scheduling events and meetings.

Filling Cumulative Student Files

Printing Individual Education Plans

Transferring Files at the End of the Year

Organize files for Probationary Teachers

Records Requests and Record Releases

Essential Duties

Perform routine clerical duties with standard office equipment (screening calls, taking messages, maintaining calendars, making photocopies, faxing, typing, requisitioning supplies, restocking).

Enter information into databases to maintain records for assigned area.

File documents alphabetically, numerically, or by prescribed methods.

Process, receive, sort, and distribute correspondence, deliveries, and mail.

Schedule meetings and special events, including invitations, announcements, notices, room bookings, and confirmations.

Assist with fiscal tracking (grants, purchases, petty cash, expenditures, deposits).

Respond to public inquiries and direct callers appropriately.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Factors

Frequent walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing.

Light work: up to 20 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, or negligible force constantly.

Salary $16.72/hr – $19.31/hr (dependent on qualifications and experience)
