Position Summary As a Server in our community restaurant, you will provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events, ensuring residents’ dietary needs and preferences are met while fostering a welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
Ensure meals are served according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
Clear and reset tables promptly after meals, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and local health department regulations.
Candidate Qualifications Education and Certificates
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Food Handler Card and knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food codes a plus.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills
6–12 months experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service a plus.
Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
