Position Summary: As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: collaborates with cross‑functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; is flexible to the needs of the business; tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
Be an Expert: maintains an in‑depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and back‑room operations; provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (e.g., cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping); ensures compliance with food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines and inventory management; operates, maintains and sanitises equipment.
Be a Techie: leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; utilises handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
Be an Owner: drives the business results, ensures commitment to operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a work area according to company policies and procedures; ensures quality and standards for high‑volume meat products; eliminates waste; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labelled and stored.
Be a Talent Ambassador: advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modelling high‑quality service and products; executes the basics at the highest level of quality; interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them to perform job‑related duties as assigned.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implements related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy and applies these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines and expectations; communicates progress and information; recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; adapts to and learns from change, difficulties and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
At least 6 months’ experience in a fresh‑production department.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a meat‑processing area.
