Job Description AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance, fosters a productive team, and ensures exceptional customer service. Managers and MITs play a key leadership role, expected to Live The Pledge and deliver WOW! Customer Service while executing store operations with excellence. Under the Store Manager’s guidance, MITs lead by example, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership. Through operational oversight and team development, store management supports AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions.

Position Summary As a Parts Sales Manager, you will drive sales performance, lead a high‑performing team, and ensure an exceptional WOW! customer service experience. You will manage sales targets, inventory, customer relationships, and team development to uphold AutoZone’s standards.

Responsibilities

Leadership – Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing high‑performing employees, fostering a motivated and engaged team.

Communication – Maintain clear, effective interactions with both customers and employees, ensuring smooth store operations and positive experiences.

Metrics Mindedness – Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive business success.

Process Orientation – Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink, and ensure operational efficiency.

Teamwork – Work collaboratively with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.

Parts Sales & Inventory Management – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.

Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk‑management practices, and uphold company safety standards.

Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.

Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, always upholding company policies.

Qualifications

Leadership: Demonstrates integrity, decision‑making skills, and strong leadership abilities.

Flexible Schedule: Availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.

Automotive Retail Experience: Prior experience in automotive retail.

Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
