Providence Staffing’s client in Mobile, AL needs a Clerical Assistant. The Clerical Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties with minimal supervision. The role supports daily office operations by handling documentation, filing, and basic data processing in an organized and efficient manner.

This is a temp-to-perm position.

Essential Job Functions

Lift and carry items up to

35 pounds

as needed

Retrieve and organize checks from multiple filing boxes

Print cover sheets and related documents from

DocuShare

Scan documents into

DocuShare

using a Xerox copier/scanner

File check documents and related records back into the appropriate boxes or storage locations

Maintain accurate and organized records

Perform general office tasks such as copying, sorting, filing, and data entry

Assist team members and perform additional clerical duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Previous office or clerical experience preferred but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable working with office equipment such as copiers and scanners

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
