Therapeutic Recreation Assistant (TRD) Full-time, 32 hours per week. Occasional weekend availability required. TRD degree preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Lead and participate in activities such as games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.
Qualifications
TRD (Therapeutic Recreation Degree) preferred but not required.
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
Ability to lead group programs.
Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
Knowledge of elderly ill and/or disabled.
