Job Profile Summary
Responsible for maintaining equipment and quality control. With limited supervision, performs interventional procedures requiring knowledge and special skills in the operation of a variety of specialized radiographic equipment, radiation safety devices and procedural equipment. Assists the medical staff performing interventional procedures. Handles confidential information regarding patients according to compliance. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details
Additional Job Description Education
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. Licensure
A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment. CPR/BLS required. Experience
3+ years specific CCL, IR or EP experience in the area. Certifications
Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Working Conditions & Mental & Physical Requirements
Manipulating Angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment Selecting and manipulating exposure factors on digital angiographic systems Evaluating and processing digital images Lifting, moving, and transporting patients Continual standing and walking Recognizing emergency situations Adapting to stressful situations Communicating effectively Equipment Used
