Activity Assistant Opportunity Springhill Village • Part Time Day Shift

As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, you help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.

Skills Needed

Creativity: Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.

Supportive Presence: Truly connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.

Teamwork: Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents and cooperate closely with the care team to support residents holistically.

Time Management: Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity preparation.

Requirements

Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Successful completion of a state‑approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the state. Training may also be provided by the community.
