NASDA Part-time Field Enumerator - Cherokee County
Join NASDA's (National Association of State Departments of Agriculture) part‑time field enumerator role in Cherokee County. This opportunity supports our organization and offers a fulfilling experience for all employees.
Responsibilities
Conduct in‑depth interview surveys with agricultural producers, utilizing a professional and representative approach.
Collect accurate, unbiased data and enter it into systems in a timely manner.
Report daily progress, time, and mileage.
Perform crop counts in designated fields.
Qualifications
Private workspace with a functional telephone and minimal distractions.
Personal vehicle for travel related to field duties.
Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends, with travel up to 250 miles quarterly for training.
Proficiency in computer systems and/or iPads.
Experience working in a deadline‑driven environment with multiple tasks.
Physical ability to lift/carry up to 40 lb. and walk up to 100 yards on uneven ground.
Background check required.
Prior experience in sales or agriculture highly desirable, basic math skills required.
