Job Summary:

As an Activities Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a engaging and stimulating environment for our seniors, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social well‑being. We're seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing daily activities, programs, and events for residents, including but not limited to:
Arts and crafts
Exercise classes
Games and social events
Movies and entertainment
Outings and field trips
Collaborate with resident services team to develop and implement individualized plans for residents with special needs or interests
Encourage and support resident participation in activities and events, promoting socialization and community building
Maintain accurate records of resident activity participation and progress
Assist with scheduling and coordination of external vendors and programs
Participate in weekly staff meetings and contribute to ongoing program evaluation and improvement
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
0-1 year of experience in activities or customer service
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and ability to learn software programs
