The Powdercoat Operator is responsible for managing the inventory of powder coating materials, adhering to the ERP schedule, ensuring a safe and clean working environment, maintaining powder coating equipment, and ensuring the quality of process standards.
**TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Manage the inventory for powder coating materials
2. Follow and adhere to the ERP schedule
3. Ensure a safe and clean working environment (6S)
4. Make sure to maintain the powder coating equipment properly
5. Ensure the quality of process standards is maintained
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES*** Develop and maintain a tracking system for powder coating materials to optimize stock levels and minimize waste* Provide feedback on the ERP schedule to improve workflow efficiency and address potential bottlenecks* Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times* Regularly inspect and troubleshoot powder coating equipment to address maintenance needs proactively* Maintain detailed records of coating processes and quality control checks for continuous improvement initiatives**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE*** High school diploma or equivalent (GED)* Prior experience in powder coating or a related manufacturing role is preferred* Basic understanding of powder coating equipment and processes. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
