In-House Training and Development
General Overview Employees work the front counter, providing customer service, making sandwiches, interacting with customers and coworkers on a continual basis. They handle tasks associated with operating a store and uphold the highest level of Jersey Mike's operational standards.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide food that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high-quality standards
Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer
Maintain a clean store and workplace
Set up of the store, including food preparation
Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.
Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only)
Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)
Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities
Wage/Benefits

Food quality that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high-quality standards
Providing customer service at the highest level possible throughout the restaurant
A restaurant that follows standards of Jersey Mike's Franchise System
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and co-workers on a consistent basis
Preferred Qualifications
0-1 year experience in food service
0-1 year experience in cash handling
Physical Demands Incumbent performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, all generally involving moderate muscular strain. Must be able to lift and carry up to at least 50 pounds unassisted. Periodic local travel required.
