Responsibilities Western National Community Liaison acts as a liaison between San Marcos Treatment Center and referral sources, implementing service‑oriented action plans responsive to referral source needs and serving as a community representative. The position covers GA, FL, MS, KY, and TN and requires weekly travel within the assigned territory. The liaison collaborates with the Director of Business Development and the Business Development Team to present a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The role includes traveling to assigned territories, planning scheduled trips in advance with pre‑arranged quality appointments with referral sources, and providing ongoing community outreach and support.

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION FROM OUR FACILITY IN SAN MARCOS, TX AND THE SOUTH EASTERN NATIONAL COMMUNITY LIAISON WILL BE LOCATED IN AND COVERING GA, FL, MS, KY AND TN.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Military experience also preferred.

Experience: Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license.

Skills & Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of the behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric treatment and age‑specific programming; demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, proficiency in computer usage; creativity, flexibility, data collection and analysis skills; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
