Responsibilities of a Body Shop Painter entail: Color match, tint, and mix paint to color codes and product specs appropriately Apply paint in prescribed manner utilizing provided painting equipment Inspect painted unit for quality of painting including runs, streaks, sags, and unpainted areas Maintain, repair, and clean painting equipment and painting booth Assemble and disassemble trucks to prepare for repair and refinishing Mask and protect panels and trim for paint process Mix primer according to specifications and apply thoroughly CIT Trucks, LLC provides a comprehensive wage and benefits package that includes: Boot reimbursement at $150 annually Prescription safety glasses up to $175 annually Tool assistance program Paid holidays and PTO Choice between 3 wide-ranging medical plans with prescription coverage Option to participate in HSA or FSA savings accounts Access to dental and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Company paid life insurance, as well as additional voluntary life insurance for self and family 401(k) retirement planning that has a dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 4% Requirements The requirements to be a Body Shop Painter: Must be at least 18 years old High School diploma or GED required 3-5 years of painting experience preferred Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds
