Responsibilities of a Body Shop Painter entail:
Color match, tint, and mix paint to color codes and product specs appropriately
Apply paint in prescribed manner utilizing provided painting equipment
Inspect painted unit for quality of painting including runs, streaks, sags, and unpainted areas
Maintain, repair, and clean painting equipment and painting booth
Assemble and disassemble trucks to prepare for repair and refinishing
Mask and protect panels and trim for paint process
Mix primer according to specifications and apply thoroughly

Requirements
The requirements to be a Body Shop Painter:
Must be at least 18 years old
High School diploma or GED required
3-5 years of painting experience preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds
