New Castle Hotels & Resorts invites applicants for the
Banquet Server
role. The ideal candidate delivers exceptional food and beverage service, creates welcoming events, and ensures safety and professionalism throughout each function.
Responsibilities
Be a BEO Expert – understand the Banquet Event Order (BEO), set up and break down events safely and efficiently, assist with buffet or other food service stations.
Be a Friendly Face – show up on time, set up your station, maintain cleanliness, assist with post‑event cleaning if requested.
Be a Host and Server – pour water, keep tables crisp, upsell wines, answer questions, remember guests’ names, provide a friendly smile.
Be a Food Professional – know the food and beverage you serve, discuss ingredients and allergies, handle cash/credit accurately.
Be a Safety & Security Agent – follow hotel safety & security policies, anticipate problems, seek management assistance when needed; ServSafe or equivalent alcohol training required.
Job Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of fine dining service experience, ServSafe or Tips certification. Physical demands include carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, bending, stretching, and standing for prolonged periods. Fluency in English, ability to work in high‑pressure situations, and strong multitasking skills are required.
