Job Description Are you an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys independent field work and is looking to jump start your career? We perform more than 84 million locates each year for over 1,400 utilities and municipalities nationwide.
Responsibilities as a Locator
Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities including telecom, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
Thoroughly search designated areas, accurately mark locations, complete necessary documentation, and photograph each locate.
Work daytime, full‑time shifts with 48‑hour turnaround; be prepared for overtime, weekend, night, and on‑call shifts as needed.

Requirements
Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Computer proficiency
Available for overtime, weekends, and on‑call shifts
Pass a drug screen
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Capable of working in confined spaces; walk, bend, lift up to 75 lbs
Distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark utilities
Read and understand locate tickets, maps, and prints
Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners
