JOB SUMMARY: The Activities Assistant will partner with Activity Director to plan and coordinate meaningful activities to enrich the lives and environment of our residents. This is a fun and rewarding job that helps to maintain and foster a positive atmosphere. Sapphire will provide the training and guidance to make sure you are confident in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the planning and carrying out of the facilities life enrichment program

Conduct one on one activities with residents

Collaborate with outside community organizations or volunteers

The Activity Assistant will document all participation from residents

Assists in timely decorating for holidays or special events

Assist during mealtime as needed

Other duties as assigned
