NYC Service
At Broadway Community’s Soup Kitchen, volunteers play a vital role in serving our most vulnerable neighbors with dignity, care, and compassion.
Each day, we prepare and serve gourmet, multicourse meals—completely free of charge—to guests experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, or other serious life challenges.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and distributing breakfast and lunch meals.
Serve beverages and help unload food donations.
Wash dishes and maintain a clean workspace.
Support our kitchen team in crafting thoughtful, nourishing meals.
Requirements Age Minimum (with Adult): 8+ , Minimum Age: 18+
You’ll work closely with our Volunteer Coordinator and alongside a warm, dedicated team that believes everyone who walks through our doors deserves to be treated with respect and care. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to serve independently; those under 13 are welcome with a parent or guardian.
