Play a key role in the overhaul and repair of aerospace products by performing abrasive blasting, peening, and aqueous cleaning operations. Work alongside experienced professionals, following industry best practices and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Who We’re Looking For:

U.S. citizenship is required (per FAA regulations). Candidates with 0–2 years of direct experience are encouraged to apply—no prior experience necessary! Flexibility with your schedule is essential, as we work together to meet production goals.

Job Responsibilities

Put Safety First: Always wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before starting any task.

Maintain a Safe & Clean Workspace: Follow all safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling guidelines while keeping your area organized.

Prepare Equipment: Check that grit‑blasting equipment is in proper working condition before use.

Ensure Accuracy: Use the correct blast media and pressure for each job.

Verify Quality Tools: Confirm that all in‑process inspection equipment is calibrated and ready.

Report Issues Promptly: Notify your supervisor immediately of any faulty operations or equipment concerns.

Follow Approved Procedures: Adhere to process sequence sheets, travel routers, QA standards, and repair manuals to meet customer and FAA requirements.

Document Your Work: After completing each operation, sign the traveler, record time accurately on your daily timesheet, and move parts to the next step.

Identify & Communicate Problems: Report any product, process, or quality issues to your supervisor.

Be Flexible: Perform other duties as assigned to support team success.

Experience

0‑2 years of direct experience

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

Candidates must have United States citizenship as per FAA regulations

Flexibility with work schedule

Good Dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch)

Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Repetitive motion of hands and wrists

Regularly stand with both hands in a blasting cabinet while performing duties

Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel, and crouch

Exposure to noise

Work is performed in a shop environment
