Line Cook – Part-Time | Tin Roost, North Liberty, IA About Tin Roost Tin Roost is a locally owned, independent restaurant in the heart of North Liberty, IA. The Role We’re hiring an experienced Part-Time Line Cook to join our talented kitchen team. You’ll help ensure every guest leaves with a full stomach and a smile.

Schedule Part-time, 20-30 hours per week. Evening and Weekend availability is a must.

Pay $15 - $22 per hour based on experience

Job Responsibilities

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces

Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.

Perform inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

6+ months of line cook experience in a full-service restaurant

Must have reliable transportation to and from the venue

Prolonged periods of walking or standing.

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time
