Job Schedule & Compensation Mon‑Fri schedule – can be scheduled on weekends depending on business needs.
$300.50 daily minimum.
1–2 layovers weekly.
$291.75 daily minimum guaranteed on days worked (flat rate).

Position Purpose Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Their responsibilities include ensuring products arrive at customers’ destinations on time and in good condition, while acting as the face of the company and building lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule; routes may be local and/or over‑the‑road, including layovers.
Deliver assigned loads back to PFG warehouse locations for receiving into inventory, ensuring timely pickup and correct product loading.
Perform load and paperwork inspections, including product counts, invoices, quality checks, and other required items.
Complete accurate and legible paperwork for all backhaul operations.
Regularly check in with the direct supervisor to confirm routes, loads, and schedules; advise of any issues, changes, or related information.
Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
1+ years of commercial driving experience
Valid CDL‑A
21+ years of age
Meet all state licensing and certification requirements (where applicable)
Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years
Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure one
Ability to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, or other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight ranging from 10–35 pounds up to 60–90 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
2–4 years of commercial driving experience
Meet DOT medical requirements
Experience in the foodservice distribution industry
