Pay Information
$980 per week, or more.
Hourly Pay: $24.50 per hour.
Hours per week: 40–50 hours.
Paid Training.
Schedule: Monday–Friday.
Start Time: 5:00 AM Dispatch.
Job Details
Deliver SOLOTo: 250 mile radius of Edgewood NY including the 5 Burroughs.
Route: Local Home Daily.
Truck Type: 26' Box Truck.
Equipment: Dolly and Door Cart.
Freight: Touch – Windows & Doors.
Truck Details Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. Company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience.
Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
Must have verifiable driving experience (6 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years).
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
Safely drive a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
Maintaining accurate records, loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer.
Other tasks as assigned.
