Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service.
Able to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and staff.
Requires general knowledge of childhood development.
Experience in recreation leadership, facility management, and program coordination.
Prior experience in assisting with recreational programs, athletics, or event coordination.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different recreational settings.
Strong organizational, communication, attention to detail, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, work effectively in a team, and problem-solve.
Special Requirements Possession of an appropriate driver’s license issued in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Physical Requirements This is medium work requiring the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, and some heavy work requiring the exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects; work requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
