With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!# JOB DESCRIPTION**Job Title**: Restaurant Server**Department:** Food & Beverage**Supervision Exercised:** None**Supervision Received:** Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager / Food & Beverage Manager**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS****Education*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.**Experience*** Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.* Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.**Skills and Knowledge*** Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.* Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.* Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.* Basic math and cash-handling skills.* Professional appearance and polished demeanor.**Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.* Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.* Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.* Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.* Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.* Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.* Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.* Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.* Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
