The Pet Valu family of stores—including Pet Valu, Paulmac's Pet Food, Bosley's, Tisol, and Total Pet—forms one of the largest retail operations in North America dedicated to providing families with food and supplies for dogs, cats, companion birds, wild birds, fish, reptiles, and small animals. All of our stores help local pets in need and partner with shelters, rescues, and charities for adoptions, pet food bank programs, and national donation drives. We are pet experts and pet lovers. Keyholder Responsibilities
Cashier and customer sales. Prepare merchandise orders, banking, and other paperwork. Place small items (under 10 lbs) into stock in the sales area. Clean and maintain the store (sweeping, dusting, etc.). Unload delivery vehicles of cases and bags of pet food and supplies, stocking items up to 50 lbs. Effectively open and close the store following company procedures. When the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent, assign daily goals and tasks to ACEs. Perform other duties as required. What You Bring
At least 2 years of retail or customer‑service experience. Working knowledge of POS systems. Outgoing, friendly personality with strong customer‑service skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license may be required. What You Get
