Job Description 2nd Shift – Bldg LL – East Peoria – Supplemental
Pay: $23.22/hour + $1.00/hour off shift premium. Minimum 40 hours per week with limited benefits available.
We are currently seeking Painters in our East Peoria Building LL facility on our D10 & D11 prime products.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Finish paints prime products and/or transportation equipment.
Maintain quality finish, free of runs, sags, etc.
Inspect, test, clean, repair, and service spray guns and other spray‑painting equipment; mix and maintain paint supply to paint booths.
Physical Qualifications
Stand for a minimum of 8‑hour shifts with minimal breaks.
Work various shifts and workday schedules, including nights and weekends.
Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures and all weather conditions.
Computer skills to access Cat Intranet.
Basic Qualifications
6 months experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment or paint shop.
Desired Qualifications
Automotive paint shop experience or production painting experience.
Additional Information
2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm). Training will be done on 1st shift.
This is a Supplemental position – minimum 40 hours per week with limited benefits available.
Supplemental employees will receive up to 40 hours of paid time off.
The position is located in Building LL in East Peoria.
Must be able to work any shift – working hours may change with business needs.
Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
All candidates must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen held to the DOT standards for prohibited substances.
