Connoisseur Media, located in Bethany, Missouri, is seeking a talented On-Air Play-by-Play Sports Announcer for its KAAN AM/FM stations. The ideal candidate is an on-air talent with at least one year of experience and a passion for radio. Duties may include sports news writing and reading, audio production, on-location broadcasts, and play-by-play. Knowledge of WordPress and video production is a plus. Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Broadcast live from remote locations and events.
Provide play-by-play commentary for area local sports teams.
Work 5 to 10 hours per week.
Be available nights and weekends.
Requirements
Minimum one year of on-air experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Available on weeknights and weekends.
Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.
Ability to successfully execute station events and remotes.
Ability to relate to the audience and have strong listener interaction.
Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
Skilled in operating a control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
Valid driver's license and fully insured personal vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior broadcast industry experience.
