Remote Kitchen Helper Part-time/On-Call - Manh Choh Remote厨房助手 兼职/待命‑Manh Choh 工作。此职位负责在远程营地的商业厨房、储藏室、用餐区和服务区维持卫生标准,并执行清洁、维护、食品准备、补充库存和上菜等工作。

Responsibilities

Assist cooks and coordinate activities in the food service area.

Maintain product levels in preparation, serving, or storage areas, including service machines.

Stock various food service areas with necessary products and materials.

Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc., and store them in an organized manner.

Wash objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.

Clean, sweep, wipe down all general dining, kitchen, or storage areas, spike rooms, equipment, and floors.

Assist with periodic large cleaning projects.

Remove garbage from assigned areas.

Set up, break down, and clean tables, snack bars, display cases, serving lines, etc.

Occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.

May combine with other position duties.

Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not met.

Perform any additional duties pertinent to departmental success.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

At least one year of work experience in a commercial kitchen or documented vocational training demonstrating knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment, restaurant food preparation, and general commercial cleaning processes.

Must have or obtain an Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification upon hire.

Must pass all pre‑employment contract requirements, which may include drug test, physical and fit‑for‑duty assessment, and hearing test.

Must cooperate and work as part of a team with employees, customers, and clients.

Must make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.

Must be on feet for 12 hours per shift during scheduled rotation.

Must live in dormitory‑style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp.

Must speak, understand, read, and write English.

Must adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set by the company and client.

Candidates Residing Outside Anchorage and Fairbanks Area For candidates residing in the Lower 48, Anchorage or Fairbanks will be considered the point of hire for pre‑employment testing, except drug testing which will be near the candidate's residence. The employee is responsible for travel expenses and accommodations for any pre‑employment tasks in Anchorage, Fairbanks, or any other location required by contract.

Flights to Remote Locations All employees are responsible for all expenses related to reporting to the point of hire (Anchorage or Fairbanks) for scheduled trips paid by the company to remote locations.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Weather: Indoor/Outdoor. Frequently exposed to arctic conditions. Noise level: Moderate to loud. Must constantly stand, walk, climb, push, pull, use hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must travel by plane and/or bus to remote camps.

Physical Requirements

Lift 50 lbs. from floor to knuckles.

Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist × 2.

Lift 35 lbs. from floor to shoulders × 2.

Stoops & twists alternating cross‑over toe touches 10 each side, self‑paced but continuous.

Kneel on one knee and stand. Alternate kneel to opposite knee.

Squat self‑paced but continuous.

Climb 10 steps × 6 (60 steps) up and down, and up/down with 10 lbs. in one hand while holding a railing for safety.
