A Crew Member, or Restaurant Crew Member, isresponsible for assisting a team of restaurant staff in preparing orders andinteracting with customers. Their duties include greeting customers andinputting their order requests into a computer system, working as part of an assemblyline to cook and package orders and maintaining a clean workspace by sanitizingsurfaces before, during and after shifts.
Duties and responsibilities:
Servingcustomers in a timely manner
Assistingin the training of new Crew Members
Workingwithin a team setting to meet sales goals during a shift
Followingthe company’s security and safety procedures
Arrivingfor the start of their shift on time and staying until all duties arecomplete
Take customer orders at thecounter
Receivepayments and present change to customers
Packfood items, make coffee, and fill beverage cups
Functionas the host/hostess of the restaurant
Makereservations for customers
Receivefood checks from waiters or customers
Appealto impatient or irritated customers, especially during rush hours
Managethe register, including all credit card and cash operations
Ensurea balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
