Koorsen Fire and Security
The Suppression Technician role at Koorsen Fire and Security is located in Nashville, TN. This position requires experienced suppression technicians to handle a variety of fire prevention and suppression systems.

Responsibilities
The inspection, installation, and repair of Clean Agent, CO2, and Fire Alarm systems, along with the associated electronic detection and control systems, to ensure proper functionality.
Inspect systems and document deficiencies.
Install systems per drawings.
Service and repair systems.
Travel throughout the Midwest, mainly Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Interact with customers, vendors, and co‑workers in a professional manner.
Demonstrate understanding of safety regulations and follow all practices.
Show willingness to learn continuously.
Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
1+ year of fire alarm, fire suppression, or electronics experience.
Relevant mechanical or technical experience.
Experience with electronic testing devices.
Pass drug screening and background checks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands
Use general hand and power tools safely.
Use a cell phone and relevant apps.
Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs; push and pull more than 75 lbs.
Climb a ladder up to at least 12 feet and use a man‑lift for service.
Work in outdoor conditions with temperature changes and loud noise.
Perform tasks that require sitting, standing, walking, using hands, and reaching.
Hiring Process
