Ryder is hiring a CDL A local dry van driver in Louisville, KY. A local truck driving job typically consists of transporting freight within a 200‑mile radius, allowing the driver to complete their deliveries and return home the same day. Compensation
Weekly Guaranteed Pay: $1,390
50 CPM with 2,500 miles per week
Stop pay: $11.00 per stop with 5‑15 stops per week
Drop & Hook pay: $6.00 per drop & hook
Shutdown bonus: $2,000 paid in 2 installments
Safety Bonus: $250 paid 4 times per year every quarter
Unlimited driver referral bonuses
Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home daily
Start times open to AM or PM based on bid system
Monday–Friday, some Saturdays or Tuesday–Saturday
Route: KY, IN, OH, TN, IL
No touch freight – auto parts
Equipment
Trucks are 36 months or newer
Dry Van 53’
24/7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel trucks at over 800 facilities nationwide
Qualifications
Must have a valid CDL A license
Minimum 21 years of age
Class A experience: 9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
Pass a Ryder drug test
Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Strong backing skills required
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Must live within 30 miles of Louisville, KY
