Role Overview You can’t remember a time when you weren’t excited by an expertly produced soufflé, and few things in life get you more excited than a perfect southern biscuit. As a Pastry Cook, you’ll learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef and help prepare and bake pastry and baked goods while honing your skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare all dessert and baked good items on the menu using Standard Recipe Cards.
Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
Complete a Daily Prep List and Closing Checklist for each shift.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and comply with all DHEC regulations.
Promptly report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen preparing and cooking.
Positive energy and team‑player attitude.
Proficient reading, speaking, and understanding of basic baking and cooking directions.
Effective communication with managers, employees, and guests.
Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, push, pull, and lift as required.
