Position Summary

Talking Stick Golf Club is looking for dependable and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary

team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and executing quality meals in a

timely and consistent manner. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, works

well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering a great dining experience.

Whether you're working on the grill, sauté, fry, or prep station, you'll contribute to a teamoriented kitchen known for consistency, cleanliness, and high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations

Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service

Assist with food prep, stocking, and restocking as needed

Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during busy service periods

Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Assist with daily kitchen cleaning tasks, deep cleaning, and closing procedures

Support kitchen team with banquet and event prep as needed

Report low stock levels or equipment issues to supervisors

Requirements

Qualifications

Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred

Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and safety standards

Ability to follow instructions, multi-task, and stay organized in a high-volume kitchen

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 40+ lbs

Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card required (or ability to obtain)

Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
