Master Center for Addiction Medicine is an out‑patient medical practice for people seeking help with substance abuse and dependency. We are headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia and expanding to additional areas of Virginia, and we are seeking a qualified and passionate CPRS in Virginia Beach, VA.

Role Overview The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) provides recovery coaching to individual patients and serves as a liaison to the providers and the treatment team in a busy, out‑patient addiction practice that provides Medication‑Adjunct Therapy (MAT), detox, and sustained recovery programs. The CPRS facilitates patient encounters by orienting patients, taking histories, reporting to physicians, and supporting patients in meeting treatment plan and recovery goals. The CPRS coaches patients through early recovery and maintains regular contact with patients to support patients and collect outcome data.

Qualifications

2 years or more of personal sustained recovery.

Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred (completed training, hours, and passed the exam).

Basic qualification: Completed 72‑hour training. For the right candidate, we will provide the required hours on the job.

Job Type Full‑time
