Sales Designer – Landscape & Irrigation

Job Type: Full-time, Commission Location: Office-based, with the ability to work remotely

About the Role We’re looking for a Sales Designer to join our team full-time and year-round. This role focuses on landscape and irrigation system design and sales, with opportunities to contribute across our seasonal services — including holiday decorating and other green industry projects.

If you have a passion for outdoor environments, a strong design eye, and solid communication skills, this is your chance to combine creativity with client interaction in a professional, growth-oriented setting.

What You’ll Do

Meet with prospective clients to design and sell custom landscape and irrigation projects

Ensure every customer’s experience is exceptional

Work within budgets while delivering on client goals and vision

Maintain ongoing communication with customers, vendors, and team members

Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure project success

Bid and secure new accounts and contracts

Assist seasonally in areas such as snow removal and Christmas production

What We’re Looking For

Strong knowledge of the green industry, especially landscape and hardscape design

2- or 4-year degree in Turfgrass Management, Horticulture, Landscaping, or related field — or equivalent experience

Familiarity with irrigation systems preferred

Experience using landscape design and estimating software

Experience in landscape installations and/or snow management a plus

Strong plant knowledge

Experience with Real Green or LMN software is a plus

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Self-motivated with strong time management abilities

Comfortable working in a team environment and leading others when needed

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to communicate via phone or two-way radio

Willingness and ability to perform physical work when required

MNLA Professional Certification desirable
