CDL A Truck Driver – Family Dollar Dedicated
Location:
Must live within
50 miles of Morehead, KY (40351)
Home Time:
Weekly for a 34-hour reset
Freight Type:
Dry van, 100% touch freight (box‑by‑box unload using rollers)
Delivery Region:
AL, GA, IN, IL, KY, NC, OH, SC, TN, VA, and WV
Stops per Load:
3–7 stops
Loads per Week:
3
Schedule:
Early morning start times with deliveries throughout the day
Equipment:
Late‑model Internationals, Freightliners, and Kenworths
Orientation/Training:
One‑week paid ride‑along training with current FD driver at
$150/day
Pay Structure
Guaranteed Pay:
$1,700 per week (True‑Up Pay, post‑training, if compliant and available)
Top Earners:
Up to
$2,300 per week
Unload Pay:
$245 per trailer
Stop Pay:
$25 per stop
Backhaul Pay:
$50 per load
Experience‑Based Mileage Pay (CPM):
$0.49 to $0.69
Requirements
Valid
Class A CDL
3 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience
No current or recent employment
(within 6 months) with:
Werner
USA Truck (DB Schenker) (Drivers from these carriers may qualify if they’ve run other lanes or worked elsewhere first)
Must be able to perform
physical unloads
(2,500+ cases per trailer)
Excellent customer service and time management skills
Must be available for
nights, weekends, and holidays
