Great Opportunity for Outdoor Work and Freedom! Our project team is recruiting Underground Utility Locators in your area for a rewarding career. We focus on locating large‑scale fiber tickets and are seeking new team members with the right attitude in a drug‑free environment.
As an Underground Utility Locator, you will drive a company vehicle to job sites, use computer utility maps and specialized equipment to locate underground cables, pipes and other utilities, and communicate findings to excavation personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle from home to job sites in response to routine requests, emergencies, and relocations.
Use mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities including electric, gas, telephone and other communication lines.
Mark utility locations with paint or flags and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities.
Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs per the established rotation schedule.

Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
Ability to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal schedule
Completion of a pre‑employment drug screening under the company’s drug‑free workplace program
Self‑management and timely communication with supervisors and clients
Physical Demands
Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as required by the assigned geographic locating area.
Enter and exit a vehicle 50+ times a day.
Stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather conditions.
Sit for long periods while driving.
Lift and/or move 50 to 150 pounds.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
