Position Summary As a Server in our community restaurant, you deliver exceptional dining experiences to senior residents, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met while fostering a welcoming dining environment. This role requires friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events.
Key Responsibilities
Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
Ensure meals comply with residents’ dietary requirements and preferences.
Prepare the dining room before each meal service by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
Clear and reset tables promptly after meals.
Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and local health regulations.
Candidate Qualifications Education and Certificates
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Food Handler Card and understanding of kitchen sanitation (plus).
Experience, Competencies, and Skills
At least 6–12 months of experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service (plus). Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Salary Range $17.00–$20.00 per hour.
