Diesel Mechanic
for our
GARNER LOCATION
with a strong background in heavy equipment and diesel engines. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands‑on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel‑powered equipment. This role requires computer and diagnostic software skills, as well as the ability to efficiently update workflows and repair documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software
Complete work orders and update repair workflows using technology
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
Collaborate with the team to ensure repairs are completed safely and on time
Requirements
Experience with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques for heavy equipment operation, including tractors, cranes, excavators, and farm machinery.
Familiarity with schematics related to diesel engines and industrial equipment.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
Minimum 1 year of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair
Proficiency in diagnostic software and computer‑based repair systems
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Schedule and Benefits
7 am‑5 pm (occasional Saturday)
