The Draftsman is responsible for the preparation of drawing to later be used by the equipment producers. This position will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have sound knowledge of the discipline they draft for.
Responsibilities
Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings. Preparing detailed complex drawings that can be input into AutoCAD/Solidworks. Communicating with engineers and sales departments to incorporate knowledge gained into drawings. Ensuring final designs are compliant. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team. Create nameplates. Create Engineering documents specific to line of work. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in engineering related studies, preferred. Associate's Degree or technical certificate, required. Experience in computer aided design and drafting. Ability to work well in a team and individually a must. Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
