Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services Shift:

Monday – Fridays 8:00 am–4:30 pm (Some Saturdays depending on job site).

Hourly Rate:

$32–45 (DOE).

Location:

2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103, Tempe, AZ 85282 (requires traveling across the greater Phoenix Area; job sites will vary).

Requirements

You must be 18 years old.

You must be eligible to work in the U.S.

You must be able to pass a drug test.

You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.

For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.

You must have your own tool kit.

A pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.

Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Job Duties

Responsible for teaching apprentices.

Manage daily labor and productivity while giving clear objectives and timelines.

Adhere to and enforce safety policy and immediately correct any non‑compliance.

Effectively listen to employee concerns and guide them towards resolutions.

Immediately report all work‑related injuries and complete required reports.

Complete daily paperwork accurately and timely.

Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours.

Inventory and track all product delivered to job site and be aware of all materials on site at all times.

Monitor and track all material on back‑order.

Responsible for mark‑out/layout of all systems and product as indicated in the contract documents and coordination drawings.

Responsible for all on‑site project documentation (Timesheets, Daily Logs, Weekly Safety, Test Reports, Pictures, etc.).

Fabricate and assemble metal structures based on blueprints and specifications.

Operate various tools and machinery such as forklift, cleat formers, bar folders, shears, roll former, band saw, rotary machine, flangers, notchers, welders, etc.

Install, alter, fabricate, and repair sheet metal products, equipment ducts, and hoods for HVAC systems.

Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal components.

Lead and manage the job with dedicated moderate support from project management team.
